What it feels like

Softer than the balm and quicker to spread. It rubs in like a cream with no water and no alcohol, just plant butters and oils thickened with arrowroot. The cool comes first and comes stronger, then the camphor warms in behind it. Peppermint and camphor on the nose, then it fades.

Uses

For the temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with simple backache, arthritis, strains, bruises, sprains.

Warnings

  • For external use only.
  • When using this product: avoid contact with the eyes. Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin. Do not bandage tightly. Do not use with a heating pad.
  • Stop use and ask a doctor if: condition worsens; symptoms persist for more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days; excessive skin irritation develops.
  • Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Directions

  • Adults and children 2 years of age and older: apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily.
  • Children under 2 years of age: do not use, consult a doctor.

What does it help with?

What is the difference between Rematch Balm and Rematch Cream?
Both carry camphor 6.5%. The Cream has more menthol, 4% against the Balm's 1.75%, so the cool comes on stronger. The Balm is a firm beeswax balm in a glass jar that melts on contact. The Cream is softer, rubs in like a cream, and comes in a 4 oz tube. Neither has water or alcohol.
How much Rematch Cream should I use?
A strip about the length of a fingertip covers a knee or a shoulder. Rub it in until it disappears and wash your hands. Adults and children 2 and older: not more than 3 to 4 times daily.
Can I use the Balm and the Cream together?
Use one or the other on a given spot, not both at once. They share the same actives, so layering only adds more of the same. Most people keep the tube at home or in the gym bag and a jar in the paddle bag. Count every application toward the 3 to 4 times a day limit.
Will it stain my clothes?
It is made with shea butter, coconut oil and beeswax, so give it a minute to sink in before you dress. Applied heavily it can leave a faint mark on light fabric; it washes out.
