Nine ingredients. All of them on the label.
Two actives, a base made with organic coconut oil, beeswax, shea butter, castor and hemp seed oil, and peppermint for scent. Handmade in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Menthol
Active. The cool.
Distilled from mint oils. Menthol activates the cold-sensing receptors in skin, which is the sensation you feel first. It is an FDA monograph external analgesic active for the temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints. 1.75% in Rematch Balm and Travel, 4% in Rematch Cream.

Camphor
Active. The warm.
From the wood of the camphor tree. Camphor produces a gentle warming sensation that follows the menthol. Also an FDA monograph external analgesic active. 6.5% in Rematch Balm, Travel and Cream.

Coconut oil*
Base. The glide.
Organic. Melts right at skin temperature, which is why a firm balm turns to oil the second you touch it. Carries the actives evenly without a greasy finish.

Beeswax*
Base. The structure.
Organic. Gives the balm its firmness in the jar and slows the melt so a little goes a long way. Also why the jar survives a hot car better than a gel.

Shea butter*
Base. The softness.
Organic. Rich in fatty acids that leave hands and knees feeling conditioned, not stripped. The reason people tell us their hands look better after a few weeks.

Castor oil*
Base. The slip.
Organic, cold-pressed. Thick and glossy, it keeps the balm spreadable and holds the actives against the skin a little longer.

Hemp seed oil*
Base. The light one.
Organic, unrefined, cold-pressed seed oil. Fast-absorbing and rich in fatty acids, so the balm sinks in instead of sitting on top. Contains no CBD or THC.

Peppermint oil*
Aroma. The bright note.
Organic. Adds the clean, fresh scent you notice when you open the jar, and a little extra cool. Fades within minutes.

Vitamin E
Keeper.
Tocopherol. Keeps the plant oils fresh in the jar and is kind to skin.

Rematch Cream
The same base, softer. Stronger cool.
Rematch Cream keeps camphor 6.5%, the shea, coconut, hemp seed and castor oils, beeswax, peppermint and vitamin E. Then it changes four things. No water, no alcohol, no dyes.

Menthol 4%
The same active as the Balm at a higher strength, so the cool comes on stronger.

Arrowroot
Root powder. Gives the cream its soft, smooth body with no water and no emulsifiers.

Sunflower seed oil
A light plant oil that keeps the cream easy to spread.

Arnica oil
Arnica montana flower extract. An inactive ingredient, listed with the rest.
